The island is ideal for walking trips. It offers a variety of countryside and therefore easy as well as more difficult trips. Excellent climate conditions prevail all year round.
The most beautiful routes pass through the Montañas de Anaga, the Valle de La Orotava and the National Park. Organised walking trips are offered in all holiday resorts.

The combination of enjoying nature with exercise and quietness is probably the reason that golf is becoming ever more popular.
In Tenerife’s pleasant climate players can choose between a variety of golf courses, which cater for all abilities. Added to this, the golf courses offer wonderful views to the mountains of the island and also of course to the Atlantic.

Dive down into the fascinating underwater world of Tenerife. The varieties of fish are so great and varied, that you can spend a great deal of time exploring them. There are diving schools in the north of Tenerife, in Garachico and Puerto de la Cruz as well as in the south of Tenerife, in Playa de las Americas.

Sports/riding
The Finca Estrella is a small riding school in the mountains. It is situated above Icod de los Vinos at an altitude of 600m at the edge of the village just before the woods. Riding lessons, riding for children, trekking, riding excursions and trips over several days are offered. The horses are kept together outdoors all year round in two open pens. The animals are therefore very even tempered, keen to walk, well behaved and friendly towards people. Comfortable western saddles are used as are horse friendly bitless bridles. Trekking enjoyment for rider AND horse. The best riding on all of Tenerife is directly in front of your door and you reach the edge of the woods in just a few minutes. Riding excursions include the volcanoes, volcanic landscapes, solidified lava rivers and gorges and valleys. The views are overwhelming and the blue Atlantic is your constant companion.
